Recruitment for Fall FY2022

Students who will be enrolled in Tokyo Tech’s doctoral program in September 2022.
*Only those students who were enrolled in Tokyo Tech’s doctoral program in April 2022 but had not been able to come to Japan due to measures against COVID-19 and did not meet eligibility requirements for the FY 2022 spring semester will be allowed to apply for the recruitment for Fall FY2022.

Recruitment for Spring FY2023

Students who wish to enroll in Tokyo Tech’s doctoral program in April 2023.
*Applications will be canceled if the applicant does not enroll in the Tokyo Tech doctoral program in April 2023, regardless of the university where the applicant earned a master’s degree (i.e., whether the applicant earned the degree from Tokyo Tech or from other universities).

Recruitment for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

Application period: Monday, September 5, 2022, 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Friday, September 30, 2022　

Those who will enroll or enter doctor course in September 2022 or in April 2023 will not have another opportunity to apply in the future if they miss this opportunity!

If you are considering applying, please read the application guidelines carefully and submit the necessary documents by the deadline.

Briefing on application

Wednesday, September 14, 2022, 14:00-15:00 (tentative)　@Zoom

“Cross the border! Tokyo Tech pioneering doctoral research project” and “Tokyo Tech Advanced Human Resource Development Fellowship for Doctoral Students” will share some application procedures from this application.
Explanation of the differences between the two programs and points to be noted in the application process will be explained in the briefing.

Target: Those who wish to enroll or enter doctor course in September 2022 or April 2023, and their academic advisors.
