We are pleased to announce a Cross the border! Workshop for FY 2023 held as below.
All recipients must participate in it. Please be sure to secure your schedule.

Time: 5:30 to 8 p.m. (JST)

This workshop will take place on Zoom.

You can access the Zoom meeting from 5:15 p.m. Please do not be late.

Presenters

All third-year doctoral students *If you are not sure whether you are a presenter, please confirm the participants list.

Contents of Presentation

Briefly explain the results of your doctoral dissertation and how it will benefit society in the future in a way that can be understood by non-specialists (e.g. your parents).

How to Presentation

PowerPoint 5 pages max including the following. No prior submission is required (submit on the day of the workshop by our guide).

  • Research background (importance of the research)
  • Research results (originality and novelty)
  • How it will benefit society in the future

Presentation Time

Presentation: 5 minutes
Discussions: 8 minutes: with D1 and D2 students and faculty (many of the listeners are non-specialists)

Language

Japanese or English

Note

  • Please operate the slides you present.
  • The presentations will be made in the order of the numbers in the “発表者” column of the participants list. Please note that the order may change on the day of the workshop.
  • There is no problem if the title of your presentation differs from the research theme stated in the participants list. Please let us know when you make your presentation.
